Hi Guys,

Off to see Bruce Springsteen aka The Boss on Saturday.

He's playing a 3 hour set so I want to be sure I recognise the most of it.

Could people please list his best songs?

I've listened to him but there's no way I'll recognise 3 hours of his stuff! He has 17 studio albums :o

I've a ticket to see him in Dublin on Wednesday, 18th July...really looking forward to it...do report back what it's like please...

Most of the songs on the following albums:

The River (my favourite album of his)
Born In The USA
Born To Run
Darkness On The Edge Of Town

His latest album is 'Wrecking Ball' but not one of my favourites...

Of to see Paul Simon on Friday...also in Dublin.

I'll be there as well, can't wait :)

Really hoping he plays Jackson Cage, he's played it on a few recently so hopefully it'll make an appearance.

Back in 1980 a mate begged me to go and see Springsteen with him and he would buy the ticket and drive me there.
I wasn't a fan but decided to go.
It is easily one of the best gigs I have ever been to, he did 90 mins had a break, did 90 mins had a break and then did 30 mins of encores.
I'm still not a fan but what a performer.
Oh yeah, after the concert I gave my mate £4 for the ticket and some petrol money because it was worth it.

Yep, seen him twice (one with E Street, and once solo) and both times were amazing.

Here's hoping for a superb third time :D

He was a amazing, but the venue was terrible.

- Draconian noise limits meant that I could happily have a conversation with the person next to me without having to raise my voice.

- The girl in front of me didn't stop talking from start to finish - I don't think she listened to a single track.

- And then, to top it all, some joyless jobsworth pulls the plug before the end of the last song, and he isn't even allowed to thank the fans?! All he could do was shrug, bow and walk off.

Super super day it was, he was awesome, and Macca was a great surprise!

Pulling the plug on those two legends was pathetic though! There is no excuse for that!

Yes all ********. There was no reason to pull the plug, it was in the middle of Hyde Park, away from all residential areas. Even pubs were still blasting music!

Saw him last night (Wed 18th July) in RDS Arena Dublin, excellent gig!

No switches pulled...
