Hmmm Red SGS3 :rolleyes: I hope if your male, your using the pebble blue version. White is girls only (if you like white phones, im sorry your a girl ! or, worse still ...... a apple user) :D
 
Does anyone else go running with there s3, how can you make it a bit more friendly? it works so well on the iphone?

I am using runkeeper for a start which doesnt seem as intergrated as on the iphone... it cant dim the music etc when its telling you something..

On the iphone you can change the music without unlocking it.. is there anyway to do something similar on the s3 ?

I don't imagine many people have had a chance to test this but this phone has excellent standby performance. I've been messing about on my Nexus for the last few days whilst the S3 has sat fairly idle.

1h20m~ screen on, maybe about 20 mins of calls, some texting installing/updating/using apps and games. Wifi on and usually 3 bars of reception.
It was still at 23% after 4d 11h since last charge when I plugged it in. I think that's pretty damn good, and useful to know as I can take it away for a few days for occasional use/checking without having to worry about charging.
 
Well thats a bit rubbish, i have to mess about uploading random bits of code to the phone just to change the song without unlocking it :(

Either that or use the headphones that come with the phone by the looks of it
 
Yea that's helpful buddy, considering that the way to do it has nothing to do with the volume up and volume down keys.

I now know it's done by double pressing the third key.
 
wish they had some decent leather bloody cases :( settled for the official samsung leather flip one atm, why couldnt it of been in brown, white gets dirty so quick, got black, but it just doesnt look "special" on white :(
 
Thanks robbo! Appreciate that, unfortunately I bought one now :( as I say I got the leather samsung s3 case, Its alright, itll do until it wears. Been that used to being spoilt with iphone cases that are reasonable smart, just shocked how little few cases are around, ones that look half decent and professional,smart anyway.
