Does anyone else think of killing themselves?

I often think of where I could hang myself in my flat. The other day I thought about what it would be like jumping off the 3rd floor in the office into the canteen below...

Does anyone else have these thoughts?

Do you think about it because you don't want to live or because you wonder what would happen?

I've looked over a high balcony and wondered what the damage would be if I jumped off. Not a particularly nice thing to think about.
