Robbery Foiled By US Pensioner with pisol

I love that video, shame the younger generation arent as brave. Banning anything only stops law abiding people getting something, its easy to get a gun round here if you have the cash.

I hear this said quite a lot but I reckon it's rubbish, it's just one of those things someone who thinks they're hard says in a pub as a boast.."I can easily get a gun blah blah blah" and people believe it.

I've no doubt on some sink estates guns are available but I would be very surprised if they were affordable to most of the scum that would want one.

For the reckon I know a few people who I would describe as 'dodgy' and I wouldn't know where to start if I wanted a gun.

And not having access to guns for the general population is no more a restriction on freedom than not being allowed a rocket launcher or a nuclear weapon.

If the OP isn't a clear argument against common possession of guns, then I don't know what is.

Crazy old man starts shooting at kids. And people applaud him. Madness!

I know, wouldn't be quite as funny would it if one of those stray bullets blew the head off a passing pedestrian walking by outside.

edit : emotive use of the phrase "blew the head off" = generally shot :-P

Death teaches no-one a lesson, I posted the video for it's 'mirth value'.

We don't/shouldn't need guns at home at all for personal protection or about our person when we go out.

In an ideal world the only things people would fight would be; Fire, disaster, disease and hunger but due to human nature this just wont happen.

Are you kidding me ?

They were not lovely little angels skipping home from school, these were men carrying out an armed robbery.

So a premeditated crime which involves a firearm, having it behind an innocent persons body while no doubt smashing the place up demanding money isn't serious enough what is? These people are not children, they are over 18, they are adults and they know better. You're telling me these 'kids' don't know that this is wrong? They don't know that they brandish a weapons and may either use it or get shot at?

If the pensioner had done what he had done while they were stealing chocolate from a petrol station then yes, what a moron he would have been. But given that situation, in a country that allows it, he done absolutely the right thing.

Outlawing guns does nothing to curb firearm related crime. Criminals have, will and always will have access to illegal firearms. It's in the nature of their business. (3 minute mac-10's aside)

Outlawing guns however says in society that we should strive to be a more peaceful one, people tend to propagate this like they usually do, which shuns weapons more and more.

To some extent, there will always be a certain amount of firearms in the UK but to your everyday criminal getting one is still pretty hard as they are really hard to smuggle in.
Having firearm restrictions is sensible, compare the amount of Firearm incidents in the UK with somewhere like Ameria. We have far less incidents.

He's lucky they weren't cracked out and didnt chose fight over flight. That little gun he had didnt do much to them although the didnt hit them anywhere critical. It said it was a .380. Thats why I wouldnt carry anything less than 9mm +P hollow points, and a whole bunch of them!

9mm is for girls, you should carry .50 caliber exploding rounds.
