Saitek Cyborg V7 Gamin Keyboard - anyone used/have one?

I have one, but I'm getting rid of it. Can't fault the keyboard, it's really nice to use. It's just a bit... gimmicky. Half the features on it you'll never use and the touch controls get a bit annoying.

I've had it since about February. Used it along side the RAT9 mouse (Which I've given to my brother).

I've replacement my mouse with the Razer Naga, which I do actually make use of the extra buttons. I'm thinking about getting the Black Widow keyboard by Razer, just to keep the colour scheme blue.

whats your thoughts on the RAT 9? Your brothers very lucky! lol

Hmmm, Now I need to put some serious thought into keyboards - because im impatient and want a new one by tomorrow morning :)

The RAT9 was superb. Loved it. The only reason I swapped from it was the fact I got the Razer Nostromo, using the RAT9 didn't allow me the functionality that combining the Nostromo and Naga together did.

What keyboard do you currently have? And what's your budget for one?

I'll see what I can suggest, but I don't want to spec you something with loads of macro keys/extra buttons that you won't use, which was the case with my V7! :p
 
got a logitech G700 mouse, but I'm not 100% happy with it. drops signal a lot, and it doesn't fit my hand brilliantly. Hence why I like the idea of a Rat9 for all the adaptability.

I thought got the V7 to match but really, the mouse looks awesome and the keyboard looks a cheap and from yourself and 4 reviews they all the say that lol

Keyboard wise im making do with an old Microsoft Multimedia keyboard lol. Desperate upgrade time!

I would say probs only around £70 max atm. I do a lot of photo/video editing as well as gaming so the more features the better really

If you like the look of the RAT9 definitely give it a shot. The only downside of it I found is the look. I personally love it, but loads of people seem to say it's ugly!

The V7 does feel cheap. It's a nice keyboard, but it's not worth the price tag imo.

These are based on personal opinion really. I've used the Sidewinder and it's a joy to work with. Such a nice keyboard. I would get one myself if I wasn't fussy about the colours!

The Logitech, well, before my V7 I had a G15 and the G15 is the keyboard I have ever used, by far. I loved it. If I could get another I would. I'm just assuming this one has the same feel to it. :)

And finally the Roccat. It looks like a nice keyboard, I'm thinking about this one or the BlackWidow myself. However I've had no previous experience with it. One of my friends have used a Roccat mouse however. They did say it was very unresponsive. That's the only thing that puts me off of this keyboard.
