-England v South Africa: Test, ODI and T20I series-

Batting last, with that many left handers, vs Swann? the score as it stands is likely to be competitive.

I've heard people saying a similar thing before, however the Saffers only have 3-4 left-handers iirc, two of those open the batting so will probably be out by the time Swann is bowling and one of them is a tail-ender so he won't be bowling at left-handers when trying to get through their middle order.

However I see your point about Swann bowling in the 4th innings when conditions should favour spin, we just need to get a score now so that the bowlers have something to defend in the 4th innings.

I joked after day one that we would be all out of 350, wasn't far off... it looks like SA are taking control of this match now.

Somebody in here complained about how slow Cook and Trott were scoring, these two are just taking the biscuit, the run rate is at about 2.3 an over..

Wow, Smith hit something through the off-side for once..

The difference is that these two can accelerate, unlike Cook and Trott. The run rate is now 2.7 and is going up.

In other news, Kohli has just hit ANOTHER one day hundred, against Sri Lanka. He now has 12 in the format. What an awesome, awesome player.

EDIT: apparently he is the quickest in history to 12 ODI centuries. Just 83 innings

Who knows, maybe he can break Tendulkar's ODI record.
