Yo guys, so I'm looking for a wireless adapter for my PC. A long ethernet cable isn't an option for me unfortunately. The modem is getting placed downstairs and an ethernet cable wouldn't run comfortably through the house.

So what is a good recommended brand for a wireless adapter. I suppose I could use a PCI one, although I don't think I have any slots left.

I've my graphics card in two slots (might be express?) and my sound card in another, but there is one small blue slot left, but it's about a third the size of the others ones. Is that a PCI slot of some sort?

My budget is up to around £80 as I don't want something cheapish that will drop the signal too many times.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Ah excellent, that does appear to be the slot I could use.

That Wireless adapter is quite cheap, but would it do the job?

Thanks for your reply.

If you look at the reviews other OCUK customer have left it seems to be well liked.

Of course if you want to spend more then you'll find quicker adapters available.

In case you're still interested Cliste, I've just replaced that TP Link card with the more expensive Asus one.

My wireless connection immediately changed from 2bars / poor / -89dBm to 5bars / excellent / -65dBm.

So there you are: buy cheap, buy twice!
