Which Monitor To Buy

Looking for external monitor for my Dell XPS 17 .

Budget £400

Has to be a IPS monitor . I surf the web a lot and have massive collection of HD photographs also watch blu ray .

Not sure which resolution to go for 1920x1200 or 1920x1080

I use 1920x1080 on my XPS

Any advice would be greatful

Asus PA238Q 23" Professional ProArt Widescreen P-IPS LCD Monitor
Asus PA248Q 24.1" Professional ProArt Widescreen IPS LED Monitor
Dell UltraSharp U2410

I'm also in a similier situation, I'm looking at either the Dell Ultrasharp U2410 or the Asus PA248Q.

Is the exra £110 for the Asus worth it over the Dell?

Main use will be for games and internet.

Its not an easy choice , the only reason why i am looking more at the Dell Ultrasharp U2410 is that i have a Dell XPS 17 , the Asus PA248Q is very nice . Looking at the customers reviews on OCUK the Dell Ultrasharp U2410 has many happy customers

Anyway, got this monitor in the end. I've not tested it properly or anything yet but it seems ok so far!

for your use is best.I nearly bought u2410 but later red good review about u2412m where they compare it to u2410,so bought u2412m much cheaper than u2410,and still great for my needs.
