Hi guys.
I'm currently sporting a 120HZ Samsung 700D, connected to my Asus Direct CU II via Dual Link DVI, working just fine.
Asus in their infinite wisdom limited the DCII in a way that one of the two stock BIOS's doesn't allow the dual link DVI, thus only 60HZ, isn't much help when I have a 120HZ monitor, they also revised the DCII that crippled the OC'ing.
Only recently found a BIOS that unlocks the oc'ing so that I can overvolt with my DCII, however the BIOS doesn't have the dual link DVI enabled, thus no 120HZ.
Using on of my GPU's 4 Display ports, can I simply plug in a DP cable and use a DVI/DP adaptor on the monitor or use a DP to Dual link DVI adaptor on the GPU, then DVI to monitor?
Cheers.
