Yeah, it was rather epic the way Jason solved that situation

I also agree with you on the Russell part, I think he is just playing along now and doesn't really believe in Lilth due to the way he acts/praises Lilth every time, "may Lilth forgive me" with a wee grin on his face after he killed Dieter
Also, there isn't any reason for him to not stick with Salome etc. either as he has now pretty much taken over Guardian's spot (as Salome said that he was the most powerful vamp to lead the movement so he is the leader of that group), he has everything there for him, the power/money, army of armed vamps etc.
Just "playing along" for now, think we will soon see his true colours again
As you said, he is 3000 years old, so won't mind waiting to get his revenge on Eric and Bill.
Also, I wonder if Lilth's blood is actually fairy blood (very old fairy blood that is) as remember when Eric drained Claudine, he was drunk, I wouldn't have assumed this if Eric didn't say "it is vampire blood and we are vampires so it should have no effect"
I am still very interested to see how this is going to turn out and how certain vamps will die etc. After that last episode I have not got a clue any more!
