Greetings all. My boss is looking for a hot desking setup within London, and seeing as GD knows everything, I thought I'd ask here.

We need it to be near Waterloo ideally (Charing Cross, Westminster, Trafalgar Square, anywhere within walking distance of Waterloo) and, in terms of services, need:
  • Phone answering/forwarding service
  • Hot desking
  • Meeting rooms to hire
  • Business address

Regus are almost perfect except we're trying to stay away from somewhere being too obviously hired in this way for client meetings. This place is pretty much exactly what we're looking for, but a little further away than we're happy with.

Thanks in advance,
dirtychinchilla

Well the office area is so so (office like - clean, etc.) but the wine bar downstairs is pretty nice (in the old storage cellars, vaulted brick ceilings) and the restaurant is nice. Nice I guess. Not sure I'd pay the membership fee just for that though (or at all in fact - company paid). Are you a member?

What did you think of the IOD? I know the building but have never been in.

I'm an IoD member and frequently use 123 Pall Mall for business meetings. Theres also another IoD a few doors down but not been in that one. Only downside of 123 is that it can get really busy on the ground floor and a little bit hot downstairs. But its a nice venue and the facilities are very good.

In Manchester the IoD has half a floor in City Tower and the view is amazing, plus its usually quiet and the coffee is free. I realise thats not very helpful for you though :P

What's 123 like, didn't even realise it existed! I've only ever been in 116 (and office solutions is in 116 as well).

Go check it out! I always go straight downstairs and get a quiet table in the corner. Not used the ground floor facilities but its basically a large open area with tables and chairs. More like a large office cafe than anything else.

Not a member. I like that part of town and have seen a few possibilities around Pall Mall.
