I'm still enjoying the game.
It's a solid shooter.
Seems most of peoples problems are to do with how people play the game, rather than problems with the game.
My suggestions here would be to find a server with either no M320 or no mortar allowed.
There are plenty out there to suit your specific preference, you just have to look.

The only grumble I have, is there doesn't seem to be many servers to play on....... I mean there are loads of servers, but not many are populated?
Cant understand it, I thought this game was popular?

Do you have a specific region set?
Can't say I have that problem tbh. I just set the filters to UK-only and tick the 1-5 and 6-10 free slots boxes - I always get plenty to choose from.

I've considered re-installing this and give it another go but I probably wont bother tbh.
surely the hackers would choose easy servers so they can rack up big scores to massage their egos some more. if they go on a hard server they will look ordinarywhich then draws even more hackers to prove they pro
in cod4 you go on the high skilled servers and its exactly the same people cheating think theyll get invites or picked up
As a BF2 vet i had to get the Karkand expansion (it came free with my Limited Edition anyway) but can't see the point for me in Close Quarters as it's just COD4 and I don't want that from BF. Still give BC2 a blast from time to time and probably enjoy it more tbh (love being able to lob c4 20ft and the explosions are way better), but I like having new things to unlock and as I've played BF3 relatively little (<55hrs), it still has novelty value for me.
I found some new love for this game in the form of Squad DM and Squad Rush, as it really feels like there are some tactics involved rather than just a free for all, and the maps feel different (albeit a little small) in this game mode. Ideal for me seems to be about 8v8 to 10v10, otherwise my noob rush tactics get me slaughtered as soon as I round a corner
These modes require some thought to locate the enemy but i'm sure will get boring soon as the maps are so small.

How long's it been since you played?
They've had quite a few nice patches within the past few months, really improved things like weapon handling/bipods and various other attachments.
The gunplay is really tight in the game now which keeps me coming back.

Regardless of the AC130 being on rails, i still think its going to be enjoyable to play.
says the guy with a 0.7 K/D and SPM of 375.
I know my stats aren't great, but then again i'm not hating on somebody who posted a 64-0 tank run.
Regardless of game mode, keeping a tank alive for that long is hard. Your average battlefield player jumps straight in a tank, thinks he's in a Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robot and heads straight at the enemy and dies within a minute.
