Activision charging $40 for Angry Birds

lol yungstar is the problem indeed, just buys right into it. Probably buys digital collectors editions of stuff too and in-app virtual currency.

Wonder if we'll be able to buy the golden eagle for 1200msp.

Edit wait sorry 4200msp kind of like call of duty elite.

its bad enough that we wont outright buy it but can you imagine how you'd feel if a parent or other, older family member got this for you after hearing or reading about the mobile version of the game and how popular it is. I.d be pig sick if i thought my mum or gran had been stung for it

Gotta be crazy if you'd pay that much for that. I see Angry Birds as essentially a mini-game :/

But obviously there are some people with too much money willing to pay it :p

Pre-ordered, thanks OP. :)

i have to agree, anyone who buys this is just giving the impression that there's a market for stupidly overpriced conversions of mobile games.

If it was nearly any other company then this would be a cheap little game to pick up on psn or xblive.
We all know it'll probably have a load of cash thrown at the marketing and a fancy advert made, then go on to have a 10 on ign and sell quadrillions.

I literally don't purchase Activision products unless I'm stacking at least 3 discount codes from a store known to heavy discount already like a big supermarket so I know they're getting no margin whatsoever.

It's possible to get Pandaria for under £25 this way.
