Well technically it is news. I wouldn't however say that it was noteworthy in any way.

Technically it isn't according this definition

1.Newly received or noteworthy information, esp. about recent or important events.

I guess it's subjective but if you consider this to be noteworthy or important then I recomend that you should go jump out a window.

I think it's more to do with the fact they....you know....have different tastes to us;)

It's not just a matter of taste, though. I have no issue with women reading, say, watching chick flicks, or reading Harry Potter as the books are well-written, the films well-made and so on. But Twilight is just terribly written and the films feature transparent plots, uncharismatic characters and genuinely poor acting.

Look at Fifty Shade of Grey, too. It's universally slated as being an utterly awful book, yet women have bought it in the mazillions when there are far better products out there.

Does not compute.

Why on earth is there a 3 page thread on this? It's not newsworthy, it's not OcUK GD worthy, it's....I can't even put it into words.

Cause we are all in shock that she cheated on him. I mean how could she? She already had the most perfect man in the world.:(

When did I say it was "THE" definition stop putting words in my mouth.
If you cared to read i say according to "THIS" definition, implying there are more out there and I was just using that one as an example.

The whole stone-facedness thing they've both got going on.

You know, "your whole family died in a terrible accident today, there were no survivors"

"Oh no, I am so sad. How terrible" *blank face*

Thank god somebody gets it! Baffles me how so many people can be confused by my comment....
