Hi as some of you might know i have a Samung 27" 750 120hz monitor, i also have a Gigabyte 7970 3gb gpu.
I have been playing a bit of BF3 campaign and i can play in ultra, i get around 70fps depends on level, anyway i stil get slight screen tearing when i move fast , nothing like when i went above 60fps on my 60 hz monitor, but i enable v-sync and its fine.
Surely i shouldnt get any until i hit over 120fps i can hit over 120fps on medium high settings i don't realy want v-sync on multiplayer as i heard this can cause lag.

Contrary to popular belief it is very possible to get 'minor' tearing even if you don't exceed the monitor's refresh rate in framerate. This is caused partly by the fact that a monitor does not process the image instantly after the graphics card creates a frame and things do go just slightly out of sync sometimes. And go by your own preferences. You may well find the extra input lag caused by Vsync to be completely tolerable and more so than the tearing.
