Can't say I have noticed.......they don't look alike and they don't remind me of each other.....if anything Keanu seems indifferent whereas Kirsten seems morose.....

To be fair,

In December 1999, his girlfriend, Jennifer Syme, gave birth to a stillborn daughter, Ava Archer Syme-Reeves.

Syme died in 2001, a sole driver involved in an automobile wreck, while partying in Los Angeles.

He's got reasons to be miserable.

Well Fifty Shades of Grey isn't "universally slated as being awful", it seems there are millions of women who would disagree.

It's not for you and it's not for me but I don't see why it bothers you, no one is making you read it.

. Whether anyone is 'making me read it' is beside the point - I'm asking what people think is the reason why women indulge, en masse, in poor products.

Plenty of women say it is awful too, I've read a few chapters, it's like a tacky Ann Summers book of BDSM, completely clueless about its subject matter and tedious to read.

Coincidentally Kirsten Stewart was one of the people picked to play the role in a possible film about the book. If anyone needs spanking on screen it is her

My point was that just because you perceive something to be poor that doesn't make it poor, that's your opinion and nothing more.

Essentially the answer to your question is no one wants to feel left out so they get involved. Couple this with the fact that if you go into something with a positive feeling, expecting to enjoy it then you probably will. Thus the cycle continues, hype spreads and more people read/watch/buy said items.

Men do this as well as women btw.

It's not just women that do it though.

It's just word of mouth isn't it. They have been told by their friends about it and want to read what everyone else is reading.

And his Dad left him at the age of three. Also his sister was diagnosed with leukemia and one of his close friends died from a drug overdose.
