Anyone been there for a stag do and whats it like?

Organising my mates stag do and he mentioned that as a potential destination so was wondering if anyone had any reviews?

Also I have been hearing that the place has been a lot rougher than in the past recently, anyone confirm this?

Dunno why people insist on going so OTT for these things.

Whats wrong with tradition? Get him blind drunk, a cheeky BJ from a stripper and leave him tied naked to a lamp post with a traffic cone up his bum.

Simple, but classic.

I worried about this when I went, we only saw one other obvious stag do though (April). Whilst we were absorbing the atmosphere in the square the other stag was doing a lap naked. There was one bar with England flags outside that looked filled with louts but we just gave that a miss. There were enough bars to avoid the idiots.
 
During the week, Prague is stunning.
Weekends suck.

Biggest tip. If you fancy something to drink that isn't alcoholic. Go to one of the fast food places. Mainly McDonalds in Prague. So much cheaper than anywhere else.
 
I went to Brno last year for a stag do. It's about 2 hours south of Prague, and a great city to visit. You get everything that goes on in Prague for about half the price, and the plane tickets are normally around £40 each way.

The amount of food and beer costs over there in general is just silly. I took around £200 and really didn't have to worry, and i wasn't taking it easy! I think beer worked out to be around a £1 a pint, if not a bit cheaper to be honest.

Prague isn't really rough at all, the crime you'll most likely run into is pickpockets on the metro or trams, saying that though in 5 and a half years I've never been pickpocketed.

There are plenty of foul looking Czechs, all weekend I've only seen one girl that I'd call very pretty. Also a good proportion of the girls you see around the centre in short skirts and heels are Russians ;) That's not to say that the Czechs aren't pretty though.

Indeed although it seems that there are less these days than a few years ago. Even so most of them don't venture much further than the centre and the strip joints on and around Vaclavske Namesti.
 
Prague is nice but its not really the place for stag do's anymore. I can't remember the last time I saw one.

Its a lot more expensive then it was a few years ago and the normal bar's do not welcome stag do's anymore.

Strippers and hookers are still cheap, google show park prague if your looking for that sort of thing.

My advice is if you want a nice holiday with good food and drinks come to prague, if your looking for a good place to go for a stag do don't bother.
