BF3 premium - Worth £40?

I love how people are sucked into this, you bought the game for maybe £30/£40 and now everyone's coughing up more notes to go premium.

People will still be there when they start selling clips of ammunition for 5p a piece.

This!

Plus more so the fact we have no idea what the last 2 DLC's are going to be like (be surprised if they will be any good at all, considering DICE will now be putting all their time & money into BF 4)............ could just be like CQ or even worse, also no idea what armoured kill is like yet either, looks awesome in the trailers, but, we all know (well some of us anyway :p) how awesome CQ looked in the trailers yet look at how it turned out in the end......... (much like the rest of BF 3 :p :D)

Premium package is for the strong DICE/BF fanboys! :p

That's total balls.

If Premium did not give you all the DLC then nobody would have bought it, some but nowhere near the amounts that did.

If you polled most Premium purchasers I can almost guarantee it was a purchase based on the overall cost of DLC versus the cost of premium and the extra little bits of fluff that comes with being premium.

Hardly.

Its no different to when i paid £15 each for BF2 Special Forces and BF2 Euro Force.

Only difference is they now have a different name for it and you pay it up front. If your a hardened battlefield fan who is going buy all the DLC anyway, its a no brainer.

If you're bored with the game, and find the need to troll Battlefield threads constantly telling everybody so, then maybe not so much.

This

Had they priced it significantly more than the expansion packs separately, lots wouldn't have bothered.

If you like the game then yes its worth it. It works out the same price as all the dlc/expansion bf2 had. You just paying up front and a tad cheaper

I personally won't touch premium as I don't want CQ and all the naff premium **** that comes with premium, most of which is to sucker none premuims to go buy it, and I already have B2K.

I may purchase AK, the last two DLC I have no clue about so yeah best to buy them as they come out that way you can make a judgement on whether they are worth buying and playing instead of paying EA up front for potential ****.

Seeing as they are apparently already working on BF4  I can see the last DLC being fairly mediocre with all the resources now working on the next EA cash cow.

Check this vid out, truth.

I don't understand all the Premium hate. I got it for £17 or whatever it was via an Indian proxy for 4 map packs (I had B2K) and other assignments and guns/camo's. That is a decent enough deal in my eyes. £17 is next to nothing for me and the extra gameplay that I will personally get from that £17 is huge.

For £40 I probably would have got it but it wouldn't have been so clear cut.

It's worth it if you're a fan of the game and intend on playing for a while and plan on getting the future expansions. It works out cheaper than buying the expansions separately and you get other additions.

I personally went for it at full price because when i game, 90% of the time it's BF3, i love the game and IMO it's the best BF game created, so for me it's worth it.

If you're a casual gamer then probably not.
If you're a whiny bitch then no.
If you're bitter about paying extra for expansions then probably not.
If you think BF3 is like CoD then no.

no and no one should suport it either considering I bet everyone here bashes of call of duty so you would just be a hypocrite to buy this

I always put it to hours played to cost. At the time i had already put in 200 hours and im my mind it had already paid for itself so I paid the 40£ for premium as well. Can't say im really a fan of CQ

I'm not sure what the prices are like, because I don't really care too much, but if BF3 ever hits the same kind of price bracket of CoD, then it'd be the game to get, CoD4 isn't worth £20 still...

That's like saying if somebody bashes Fable, they are a hypocrite should they play Skyrim.

I pre-ordered BF3 for £29 and got premium for £17. So far I'd say I've been happy with what I've gotten for the money, and the new expansions give me something else to look forward to in the game.
