I'm assuming InKursion is still banned but just for form : I am a terrible poster and this thread is literally awful and probably causes sadness to develop in your brain. Please leave. Leave now before it's too late. Please.

Sometimes I think I have a great thread which I need to post. I don't really have a filter so I tend to just post them anyway and they are universally dreadful, this one included.

What is the best thread that you never clicked the 'submit new thread' button on? Why didn't you post it?

My Castiel's Ultimate Guide to Survival in The Wilderness Thread while I was writing it, it became apparent it was tl;dr material.......

You're an intelligent man. Do you have a sub you could run anything past? I might be able to help you there if not.

Alternatively, just brain dump on us. Type it as you think it. It'd be an amazing thread.

I'll give it another shot at the weekend......maybe post up one section and see where we go....

@moses...Ray Mears is alright, but he stays in hotels when the going gets tough....:p

Also, I think I may have asked this already, but whos Inkirsion and why is he banned?

My thread which I never posted was basically me being a raging asshat throwing loads of personal attacks at certain dons and two other members of the forum.

Thankfully I realised that I was being an absolute child on these forums and since then I've vowed never to take things to personal attacks and to try and remain civil at all times on the forums.

Not had any infractions since so I must be doing something right :D

I wrote an introduction to thermodynamics for the watercooling section. The idea was to teach people to answer questions like "what size radiator do I want" for themselves.

I then got into a lengthy disagreement with Jokester regarding the effect of removing the integrated heat spreader and lost some confidence in my understanding of the topic. I still think he's wrong, but I'm not as sure of that as I'd like to be.

You're about to have your lunch on a warm summer day, in a square close to your office. To your left there is a set of steps, full up, three rows deep, with very attractive females. You have your perving glasses to hand - question is... you need to select somewhere to sit - do you pic a high vantage point for the view down their tops or do you pick a low vantage point for the view down ......

and then I realised it was a very crass and pervy subject for a thread... still it was a real dilemma for me at lunchtime last Monday... temptation was to post a pic too...

God no, there are loads of threads like that already....they end up being discussions on the best way to kill a zombie rather than surviving in the wild....most people in those thread think they are in a reconstruction of Dawn of the Dead, and are roaming about with high powered rifles, jeeps, 50Cals and an unending supply of ammunition, food and fuel........

I was thinking about something a bit more realistic and rooted in the here and now....:)

e : Castiel, why not just drop it on us? Type it as you think it. Or what about grouping it into several sections and then go from there? For what it's worth, I'd prefer to read it it as you think/type it.
