Prague for a stag do

Anyone done shooting in Prague and can recommend one in particular to go to?

I've been to Avim near the Florenc metro stop multiple times, it's mainly a pistol range but you can rent an AR-15 chambered to 9mm and a shotgun, not been for ages now though. Last time I went it was about 1000Kc (~£30) for gun rental and 100 rounds. It's not really good for big groups either, 4 is about the maximum.

Prague is nice but its not really the place for stag do's anymore. I can't remember the last time I saw one.

Its a lot more expensive then it was a few years ago and the normal bar's do not welcome stag do's anymore.

Strippers and hookers are still cheap, google show park prague if your looking for that sort of thing.

My advice is if you want a nice holiday with good food and drinks come to prague, if your looking for a good place to go for a stag do don't bother.

this is so true now in Prague, you will be lucky to find a bar that allows stag nights, and if you do, they will be full of other stag nights, the bars have went very up market since a few years back.

(and random overnight stops in places just becuase some of the distances are a bit big for one day)

After I visited the first time I got the number of the guy who took us shooting (usual stuff, range, pistol, shotgun, etc).

Second time we went 'private' and got to play with a lot more bits.

Vienna is cool.

M-Loung is worth visiting for dinner, they have a 8 course tasting menu for 35 euro.

Recommend the American Bar. Small but a fantastic atmosphere.

Prague is overated and too expensive now for stag dos IMO.

Been 4 times. First time (about 9 years ago) pints were 16p (in local none tourist bars)and a hooker was a fiver.

Last time, about 3 years ago, drinks were now around £1.50 in the local bars and £3+ in the main tourist bars.

Your money goes a lot further in other Eastern European cities like Krakow or Llubjana for instance.
