Arma 2 - Army of the Czech Republic DLC

The Bohemia Interactive Store now offers sales of the Army of the Czech Republic DLC for Arma 2, BIS's military shooter sequel. This is the only place to get this for now, but this will show up on Steam in mid-August. Here's the deal:
The stunning new DLC features a variety of authentically modeled units and vehicles together with detailed environments, demonstrating the various roles and deployments of modern Czech Armed Forces across different theatres of war. All brought together in an exciting and engaging new singleplayer campaign as well as a number of standalone singleplayer and multiplayer scenarios.

I have all the other expansions but I'm finding it hard to justify this one, what with ARMA III waiting in the wings

No doubt Rocket will include some of it in Dayz, making us buy it if we want the high res textures

The Czech forces don't really hold much interest but maybe the map could swing it. Could anyone who buys it please let us know the size/quality of the maps.

last i heard the two maps were actually just parts chopped out of chernarus (one being the NW corner including the airfield, and the other being cherno/elektro/surrounding areas), reskinned and the ocean converted into a river

Really? that is a bit of a let down, oh well I'll just have to wait for ARMA III

just downloaded the lite patch (you gotta manually download it - Google it). I can confirm that the two maps are indeed based on chunks of chernarus. I had a quick fly around on the cherno/elektro map - seems to have a fair bit of customization within the town and cities, i.e. cherno's industrial complex is replaced with a forest, and the town hall has gone - seems to be more of the house/cafe buildings around there instead. Also a few barns/substations etc in the countryside that i'm pretty sure weren't there in the original (bearing in mind this was a quick flyover) As i said earlier, the ocean is no longer there, in its place is a fairly large river and a considerable landmass on the other side (but no roads or buildings, only forest)

Lol, it doesn't even include the CSLA's most modern and potent weapon system: the JAS-39 Gripen
