Yes i am. I'm expecting slightly worse performance but i will get the benefit of a cooler system, using less power and maybe now ill be able to leave my pc on overnight again.
The thing i didnt like was my 6950 twin frozr ii's both dumped heat inside my 600t. I didnt want to add a side fan to my case as i love the open look. However playing metro 2033 temps were getting up to 89c on the top card and i didnt like all that heat. It was also making my H60 work harder than it should have to as well.
I'd like to say though that i had zero issues with xfire.
Gibbo any chance of a price match on that for people who have just bought one from ocuk?
, thanks for your input, mine are unlocked/clocked with AC Extremes on top, heat isn't an issue for me, although noise is a big issue for me regarding stock/WF etc coolers.Smashing price now on the WF, would love to hear one in running on 2D clocks on the desktop as I can't hear my twin cards at all, in a very, very quiet setup(on the desktop anyway), in game, I manually fire up all the fans in my rig(which is probably still quieter than most PC's when browsing).

CrossFire has been fantastic, overall a very happy experience, that's been the main thing holding me back from making this purchase.
69 series CrossFire performance has been trouble free for me, but it's looking like the 79's issues have been put to bed(single card mode anyway), so maybe it's time to make the switch.

Good work with the price match, same goes for Gibbo, but you both just made my purchase indecision even worse.

). That to me screams bargain.
