It's probably going to be too much but I really fancy below ambient cooling. Will be cooling i7 3770 and 680sli

Getting the insulted tubes don't seem to be a problem but will I still risk condensation on the blocks? I've read that while using a rad will lower performance it increases the dew point.

Wouldn't bother with another rad if you would be using the chiller all the time. The rad would simply warm up the fluid again so that's why it would increase due point.
If your spending on the chiller, you might as well get come neoprene and cover the blocks then you can chill to much lower tempretures.
You would probably be limited to say 12° with no insulation.

Thanks for the reply. I won't go with a rad then, also would mean less or even no fans. I assume I can just buy off the shelf neoprene and cut to size.

Looking at the power on the different models the 500 would just, and only just cover my kit and probably wouldnt allow for any over clocking. The 1500 however seems a bit overkill and is a bit of a price jump.

Well if you think, the top air CPU coolers rate them selves at around 200W
I know this wouldn't be a fantastic way to compare but it gives you an idea.
If you want to overclock then maybe go a little over the 500W but any would give much greater performance than a normal cooler.

You can buy neoprene tubing and sheets of neoprene yes :)

im trying one in the next month or so also but am making sure it is either vented externally or in another room with a thru feed to my external loop

will wait and see how i go about it still experimenting with other stuff

If I get one it will be in the garage with pipes fed through the wall.

i think my will have to be hidden like that also tbh there was a really nice thread with an underfloor build a while back cba to search for it now but yes agree you dont wat the heat dump into the room i guess

look forward to seeing it

Further to my research I have found a chiller by Deltec, it's sold by aquarium suppliers but the specs are identical to that of the Hailea but over £100 cheaper. Is there anything that Hailea does that makes it more suitable for PC cooling?

Nope, the Hailea is an aquarium cooler too
