Wait, didnt everyone just compare STALKER to Fallout 3 ?

Will be interesting to see what both games look like under the same dev.

If theyve got any sense they'll make a Dayz game. I still think of survivors as my fellow stalkers. Less zombies, more apocalyptic mutants.

I think Bethesda could make an awesome Stalker game as long as they keep the engine different from Skyrim.

To be honest, the Stalker games are a bit crap, but the idea is a good one.
Bethesda would have to be pretty shoddy to put out something that isnt at least on par with whats gone before.

Depends a lot on the art direction. I've seen ome or two mods which used the original engine, but due to the change in presentation, for me it just didn't quite feel like a Stalker title.

Im amazed most people seem to think Skyrim is some kind of open ended god of sandbox games... its actualy one of the most directed single path titles i have seen in recent times.

Are you confusing the "story" where you can progress in a linear fashion (which is how stories tend to work) with the game being linear?
