Gigabyte Radeon HD 7970 SOC Review

For example

Eh? That ain't an example

I was asking what would nVidia have done (as their next - better - chip is seemingly unavailable until at least Q1/Q2 2013) had AMD released a better card than what the 7970 currently is.

They would have been stuffed. So the fact their "mid range" 680 performs on par with AMD's "top end" 7970 suggests that perhaps the 680 being the top end card now for nVidia is in line with what they planned.

Gushing about nVidia? Doubt it.

As you were unable to find an example of me gushing about nVidia anywhere (and I'm sure you were digging for yonks :p) I have found an example of quite the opposite:

Crappy nvidia drivers :p
(Joke)

It's true though. If AMD allow you to do it properly then nVidia should implement something similar. There's 3 users on this forum alone in this thread who want it... scale it up across all Surround users? Probably a lot of them are similar.

Edit: Now 4 users! :)
