Which would you go for and why??

Quite like the idea of the apogee drive II for my prodigy build, but would it be sufficient to run a 240 and a 120 60mm rad along with a GPU block?

Any reason to go with a seperate pump/block??

thanks!!

advantages of the apogee drive 2 -
saves space
powerful pump

disadvantages -
may be more expensive?
will be harder to fill as the pump will likely be above the reservoir.
you can't use the cpu block separately
mcp35x is noisy

Yeah - it looks like a good option for me in the Prodigy case.

It is noisy on full whack - but apparently not when under normal use - as stated its PWM.

Now I just need to find somewhere that stocks it!!

It's actually cheaper than buying the mcp35x and a high end block.

The mcp35x is pretty quiet since it supports pwm.

I know, but he probably wouldn't get a mcp35x pump if he was getting the pump/block separate.

Here is someone who did a similar build with the apogee drive 2

Looking at the comments he complains about the noise even at the lowest pwm setting which makes the pump run at 1500pm. My standard 12v ddc runs at double that and I wouldn't call it noisy but everyone has different opinions. What may be loud for him might be very quiet for me :)
