OK, I am going Blackpool for a mates birthday tomorrow night, I have never been before so would like to know the dress code...I have some nice shoes to go with but I am now unsure as to whether I will get in the pubs...

P.S. Here are the shoes (1 of them at least)

So...will I get into the pubs wearing them and a check shirt the same colour with black jeans?

I wore skate shoes on a nightout in Newbury and the door men didn't bat a eyelid.

I don't understand why theres a emphasis on shoes, the rest of what people wear is casual so why is not fine if the shoes are casual. Eh?

Didn't have a problem getting in anywhere wearing sandals in Blackpool last weekend. I was wearing sandals because they complemented my braveheart outfit.

Wouldn't be seen dead in those shoes though.

GD doesn't get out much, those are normal looking shoes and no one would comment if they saw you wearing them.

They will be fine. Fancy dress is the dress code. I'm off to Blackpool tomorrow night as well

P.S Jaffa I'm only taking the rise, those shoes are alright and you should be fine. Haven't been to Blackpool for a while but they weren't too strict last time I did go.

Blackpool is a dive, I live here and can vouch for its status as worst place in the UK. Having said that I don't think the muggers will be asking for those shoes.
