Xona DG 5.1 Install

OK so when I install my new Xona DG sound card that i should get tomorrow ....do i uninstall the Realtek HD Audio Manager or just leave it alone ??..Also as I'll be plugging the Front Panel into the card itself....will I still need to go into BIOS and Disable the HD Audio there ??

Some tips for you as well, after having this card for a few months.

1) Disable the flex bass in the options (it's on by default and makes the sound worse)
2) In the main control panel set the analog out to headphones and set the impedance to match your speakers/headphones. I found it best to set it at 32-64 and turn the volume down manually afterwards, it was too quiet otherwise. Bear in mind that each setting basically doubles the volume so be careful when switching this option.
 
That's a fair point. These are the settings I have:

With Flexbass off also since it ruins the sound. Use either Headphone or FP Headphone, it gives slightly better quality over the other options, unless you're using a 5.1+ speaker setup.
 
Just like to point out if you have 5.1 headphones that have more then 1 audio jack, you can't run it as "headphones" I. The options. It needs to be 5.1 speakers.
