As a CPU for gaming its great, but it depends what video cards come out in the future and how many of them you intend to run at any one time.
Temp wise while it would be higher than i5 2500K...but i5 2500K has very low load temp to beginning with, and even if i5 3570K was 5-10C higher in temp, it is not hot enough to the point of damaging the chip (unless you overclock it to 5.0GHz with fairly high voltage).Nice, I might look into the 3750K though. Does the "heat problem in Ivy Bridge" affect the 3750K?
