Well, I bought another mouse. I wasn't getting on too well with the Razer Mamba for a variety of reasons, I don't really think wireless is worth it due to the nature of my desk, and there were a few irritating bugs, as well as the shape not being ideal.

So, I just got this, it's a bit colourful but I prefer the matte finish to the standard shiny plastic version. I needed a new mousemat as well, and this one is meant to be ideal for the Sensei:

It's very different to my old mouse mat though (Razer Mantis Speed), I may end up changing it eventually for something else.

The mouse is absolutely fantastic though.

Yup, got it on Thursday night:

On the off chance I checked at 22:20 last night (on bed with a tablet) and after going through an agonising fifteen minute wait got a ticket for the Athletics on Sunday night. My hands were shaking when it said I had a reservation.

I opted for the pdf ticket as it's not worth waiting to pick up a printed one at the park.

A dream come true for me.

It was £725. I had applied for the same class of ticket in the original ticket lottery last year so you can’t imagine the amazement when this showed up on Thursday night. It’s one of those once in a lifetime events and a boyhood dream so I couldn’t pass it up.
