I dare anyone to say these Olympics were a waste of time and money. It was worth everything for the last 24 hours alone!

As Pigeon_Killer said before I hope a **** load of money gets pumped into athletics and sport now. I know of loads of pro athletes and teams not just amateur organisations that have had their funding cut and reduced and I hope today and these games will change this countries future outlook on sport and athletics.

Just like Wiggins, it will never get any better than that for Jess. Imagine 80,000 singing just for you, must be an amazing feeling.

Needs to start in schools. Drop this 'everyone's a winner' BS and promote and encourage success!
