What shoulder mount did you use? I've always been tempted to have a go at one of these montages but whenever anyone notices I've got the camera out, they all start acting the fool.

Curious to know how much you used the mount and how much was you, amazing footage though, especially the night time parts.

To be honest.. I was looking around for a decent shoulder mount option a few months back. I like to shoot guerilla style, to be inconspicuous so I went ahead a bought a very expensive Zacuto Striker rig... its superb piece of kit for that purpose, but I've ended up using a Frankensteined rig made up with the cheapest shoulder mount you can buy.. the (Cowboys studio shoulder mount), and a manfrotto sliding adapter plate for extra rigidity. I used that for this shoot. So £30 for the shoulder mount and £30 for the adapter plate.

I used the shoulder mount for every part of this shoot. It was an exercise purely for that reason. I try to do projects where I use only one piece of equipment to see how creative I can be with one item at my disposal... I then go through the whole process of putting an edit together, colour grading, etc.... and try to learn from movement and workflow (what works, what doesn't). Using a Glidecam, Slider, Jib or a shoulder mount all have different workflows and require a different approach... I want to get to the point where everything becomes intuitive and if I want a particular look for my video,I will know what to use to get the shot. I still have a long way to go but I'm loving the experience of getting there.
