The title is probably going to give this thread more views than warranted, but whatever.

I was given a laptop by one of my brothers friends the other month, and he told me to take my time on it - which I did being as lazy as I am.

So today I finally got it to run, the RAM was faulty so a quick change over fixed it.

So I logged in to make sure that the laptop was running to standard and whether everything was working. MemTest86+ ran without any hitches, but you got to make sure.

When I logged in I noticed a shortcut to a folder called 'Picz' on the desktop.

I shouldn't of clicked it, but I did.

Nudes, everywhere. From meat in hand to one which was thoroughly disgusting and involved a teacup.

So now I've got to look this guy straight in the eye and tell him what was wrong and how it was fixed.

Eurgh.

So, have you ever experienced something similar to this?

we get them all the time at work. they get a virus and when you do the scans the files names flash by. you can clearly see what they are as no one changes the file names :p but would never go through someones folders, that's just wrong :p

Stay professional, what he does is his own business.

Besides for all you know they could have been his GF's collection (lol) or someone trying to stitch him up :D

I noticed the ones that stuck out to you involved meat in hand and a teacup ......hmmmm

Best I can do.

When I been fixing them I have saw gay porn, lesbians, animals e.t.c in their folders. Not very nice.

Can't help but snoop, at the end of the day if the machine was stolen the person who stole it would look at the files anyway if they were interested.

There's a fine line. You could find that or child pornography, what would you do in that case? Data protection etc. However if it's the latter I'm sure you can tell the Police.
