Really Unexcited about New Games

Hey guys I was wondering if you could help me.

I seem to have lost interest in all the new games coming out, max payne 3 isn't my sort of thing (I bought it and it wasn't for me). Bought spec ops the line, not my cup of tea again. Bought Endless Space, this is more "me" but I just don't want to play something really deep like that at the moment.

What new games should I be playing or looking forward to atm? I've sort of lost track of new releases so I was wondering if you could fill me in.

The games I'm playing right now are UT2004 as usual, Arma 2/AH and Mount and Blade Warband.

I would really like a single player game as I haven't sat down to complete a sp game for a long time now. Infact I haven't completed any sp games in 2012.

I really like games that are like tomb raider, those are my favourite sp games to play. Is there anything in this vein that I should be playing?

Your in the same boat as me, I think its just as we grow older we are getting bored of the same old thing year after year.

I've quit gaming untill GW2 which ill then play casually.

As for looking forward to games, there are some very interesting games coming out this year. Dishonored and Watch Dogs both look excellent. And then we also have Hitman Absolution and Far Cry 3(the trailer looks great imo, I hope it is an improvement, it looks like it).

Edit- I think Watch Dogs is 2013 actually?

Dishonored looks kind of interesting, I did like dark messiah.

All that means is you have a specific taste. Something that is hardly bad but also not the games industries problem.

idk I kind of like arma 2 for being a milsim, i might just find a zombie mod too silly.

There is nothing silly about DayZ

That or wait for some of the bigger games on the horizon like Rome 2.

Borderlands 2
Torchlight 2
Watch dogs
Dishonoured
Darksiders 2

Darksiders 2 comes out in 2 weeks, the first was excellent, so really pumped for this 1 too.

I finished Borderlands and felt the need for a brief change. Started Trine 1 and it's a good platform game so far, it did take awhile to adjust, not played a platformer for years.

Sleeping Dogs might be a sleeper hit later this month

I think it'll tide people over until GTA V.

Maybe just try something from a different genre to freshen things up that's what I do. Maybe play one of the Total Wars or Civilisation or something like that.
