Leonardo is best mates with the Sao Paulo president or something IIRC and you can get a deal done a lot quicker if you go straight to the man who makes the decision.

Paying a reported 15m more than everyone else probably helps as well :p

i didn't know who moura was until about a week ago then everyone started getting excited about him.I watched a few vids and personally didnt think we needed him especially at 30m,i am happy with kagawa and if we get rvp i cant see us signing anyone else

Like I said before I think a lot of people are going to be disappointed if they think we're going to have an alternative to Moura, as it was he was our alternative to Hazard, I can't see us having a third choice this summer.

lol some interesting facts about PSG/Moura

PSG's spending this summer;

Silva 42m
Ibrahimovic 21m
Lavezzi 26m
Verratti 11m
Moura 43m
Total - 143m

Moura at 19 years old is the 9th biggest transfer in European football

Crazy crazy stuff

The last thing we need is more wingers, central midfield should be priority, followed by a left back.

Well I'm a little disappointed (about Lucas Moura) to be honest, a lot of hype on this transfer which I don't normally jump on but kinda got excited by the prospect (even if the fee was pretty high for such a young lad), but I'm also kinda glad its over with.

I also think its funny we're hearing RvP news now since Moura is done with, SSN sure like to keep that transfer hype-train moving along (which admittedly is exciting to begin with but after weeks of it, its bloody annoying).

Why can't the transfer period be just 2 weeks long? :p

Let RVP go and bring in Llorente (will never happen though as he is to similar to Giroud unfortunately :( )

Chelsea have done their business brilliantly this window so far - that is whoever is deciding on the transfers . The Oscar transfer went through relatively quietly and for 25 million they could possibly have a steal. They came in for Hazard late after all the speculation as to which Manchester club he would be playing for. Marko Marin looks good in the preseasons ive watched , i know that means nothing significant but they only paid around 7 million for him and that was sorted out before this window opened. Best strengthening out of the big teams in the premier league so far i reckon.

Shame all round, a year of being fit in the champ would (probably) have done his reputation some good. Wolves haven't even cashed in that much at 3m and Stoke probably wont play him enough to see him go too far.

All round not really the best move for anyone.

Think were getting rid of Pennant so i dont see why he wouldnt play? Who else can play RM? no one

lloris and damiao would make almost all spurs fans happy, unfortuanetly, i can't see either happening. damiao is slightly understandable due to international commitments but we're cutting it mighty fine for strikers. one of the reasons redknapp went was poor window signings in january, AVB isn't getting off to a flier if we don't get another striker on board. if defoe gets injured, we're in real trouble.

Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Younes Kaboul has revealed he's spoken to France international goalkeeper Hugo Lloris about joining the north London club.

Spurs have been linked with a number of goalkeepers, including Team GB star Jack Butland, Julio Cesar and Lloris, as a replacement for current shot-stopper Brad Friedel, who recently celebrated his 41st birthday.

But any move is thought to be dependent on Spurs selling Luka Modric to Real Madrid, freeing up the funds to complete the Lloris deal. A £12m fee has been mooted, but Lyon have reiterated their intention to keep hold of the French international.

Kaboul told French newspaper L'Equipe that he'd had a conversation with Lloris regarding a move to White Hart Lane, and had tried to persuade the goalkeeper to join him in north London.

Quoted on Goal.com, Kaboul said: "I talked about Tottenham with Lloris on the telephone. It will be great for him to play with us."

The Spurs centre-back hasn't always been first-choice at White Hart Lane, but established himself last season at the heart of the Spurs defence. But the Frenchman still didn't make Laurent Blanc's France squad for Euro 2012.

But, despite the international disappointment, Kaboul revealed he's happy playing for Spurs.

"It will be difficult for me to move. I am happy in Tottenham."

Tottenham fly to Valencia this evening where the play their final pre-season match of the season. Their most recent outing, a 1-0 victory over Watford, saw Jermain Defoe score the only goal of the game.

But goals have been difficult to come by, with winger Gareth Bale chipping in a few, and Andre Villas-Boas is thought to be keen to sign a striker before the deadline. The Portuguese coach has reportedly made inquiries regarding Internacional striker Leandro Damiao, while the Emmanuel Adebayor deal continues to drag.
