Sky is to launch a dedicated high definition movie channel to tie-in with the release of the 23rd James Bond film, Skyfall, in October.

Running throughout the month, Sky Movies 007 HD will carry all 22 of the previous official movies, from Dr No to Quantum of Solace, as well as the two unofficial, non-EON flicks, the 1967 madcap version of Casino Royale (starring David Niven, Peter Sellers and Woody Allen) and Never Say Never Again, the remake of Thunderball with an aging Sean Connery returning to play Bond for the last time.

I take it they are going to air the same remasters as the blu-ray set that comes out in the same month?

I was thinking of getting the blu ray box set, but this will do nicely instead.

Meh, ITV HD has been doing okay for me recently. Got a few of the Bonds recorded from it.

i thought goldeneye was quite good tbh .. apart from teh extremely dodgy jump off teh mountain to catch a falling plane ... makes me laugh each tiem i see that bit .. crap cgi

The last two Brosnan ones really went downhill.

Die Another Day - I cringe at the surfing, cheesey dialogue, kite surfing, satellite blasting beams across Korea etc...

Daniel Craig has been better than I thought however.

None of them capture the feel of Dr No, FRWL, Thunderball though.

Am a huge Bond fan - the books get a regular re-read every couple of years.

Awesome news on the dedicated channel.
