Looking for a premixed coolant.

I don't want to mess about with anti-corrosion this and that. I want to be able to just out it in from a bottle and forget about it.

Any recommendations as to which type/brand? Looking for a clear coolant.

I'll have a GPU,CPU, 240 rad, 120rad.

cheers

Anyone used the aquacomputer fluid that's on pre order? Always associate AC with premium quality so curious to know if their fluid is in the same league as mayhems.

Using EK-EKoolants Clear no problems at all - £5.60 1ltr, buy 2 as it comes in handy if you have to do anything to your loop[topping up]

odd, can't even find any reviews on it!
there are some german forum posts of a few people saying they've used it x months with no problems but that's about it

@ the OP - mayhems X1 is a good choice if you want best performance, be aware that things like the pastel are not as good at cooling

What's wrong with good old water and a kill coil? All the fluids I've used have discoloured my components and I've yet to record any discernible difference in performance

X1 for Performance, Pastel for a 3 years life span and looks (its 1c to 2c more than X1 in normal system how ever comes into it own with high heat loads and out performs X1 in such systems)

X1 is cheaper in short term how ever if you go Pastel its has a 3 year life span (in system) and works out at £5.00 per year which is even cheaper than EK if you factor in the time scale.

is reverse osmosis water any good to use in watercooling, just asking as i can get hold of gallons of the stuff where i work:D

RO is perfecly fine as long as you run it though di resin when you finished to get its TDS down. RO on its own is no good.
Silver kill coil is fin as long as no direct sun light is entering the PC (e.g no window on case). If you have a window and any chance of getting sunlight then silver kill will do you no good on its own you will need a liquid biocide.

Thanks so I need to find out if the ro machine has a di stage but I would imagine it has as we use it for pharmacotical industry and I'm sure it has four stage filtration, I'll be using with a case window so I'll need to get the biocide thanks for the advice

how much = your in sys volume (minus air gap in vol) , what you fill it with gives you a minimum % advantage/vol

basically go to your garage and buy battery top up the cooling effect of additives is pretty mimimal but they will provide inhibitors etc

mayhems is about the best any claims of increases with this or that is minimal.. benefit

di water and mayhems should be fine
