Ideas of first wedding anniversary present.

Going away for the weekend at a nice hotel in the New Forest, but was after ideas for a gift.
What did you get your wife for your first wedding anniversary? Traditionally its cotton
 
The UK tradition is cotton, so maybe some nice sheets for your bed or some tea towels - exciting huh!

My wife and I both got confused and went with the US tradition of Paper - we both got picture frames with photos from the wedding :D

My wife got me a magazine subscriptions which was nice and fits in with the paper theme.
 
The trick is to set expectations low early. I'd recommend forgetting. Don't let a flurry of honeymoon period enthusiasm set you up for a fall later in your marriage.
 
If you've left it this late, then the best paper gift would be a blank cheque :D
 
Sorry I dont need the gift this weekend in two weeks time :) thanks for the replys so far might pass on The sun though :)
