So around 12:30am this morning, I heard a loud noise coming from the front off the house where I park my 2001 Mazda 626 GXI. I went out to have a look and discovered that some toe-rag has snapped one of the front windscreen wipers off :( I investigated further and they did the same to the car beside mine and to a few cars around the corner. I'm fuming!

Money is really tight at the minute and I was wondering if anyone would have a rough est. of how much it would cost to get it fixed? I've has a look for parts on ebay but can't seem to find any :(

I just Googled "2nd hand Mazda spares" untold links to follow but most need reg no. to identify the correct part.
Go Google.

What's broken - the wiper or the wiper arm? The wiper arm is generally pretty solid, normally the clip breaks (which is part of the wiper)

Wipers are a few quid, a wiper arm would need to come from a breaker/ebay etc.

Mindless vandalism yet again. Honestly it's ******* pathetic... just because they can't afford a maccy d's let alone a decent car unless they're dealing drugs doesn't mean they have to ruin 8 or 9 cars in a street. Jesus christ.

Hope it's not too expensive mate.

Give Traynors a ring tomorrow or one of the other local breakers and see if they have the parts.

all fixed :) got the part I needed from a breakers in England. The actual arm was £5 but with VAT and postage, it came to £18 in total which is better than what I expected. I fitted it today and it's working good :)

Reminds me of what happened to my car. Some scrot bag thought it would be a good idea to scratch the windows of the cars down my street with a stone. Moronic or what!
