I still can't understand why the current CHV is retailing around £190!?! - wtf I could have sworn it was like only £160 when it launched!?!

So from what ive gathered the peformance difference between this and the CHVF is the following, Highlighted the most important parts :p -
The Crosshair V Formula-Z is available soon and boasts significant hardware upgrades from its predecessor. Republic of Gamers introduces the improved Extreme Engine Digi+II which allows for an unprecedented amount of control over the CPU and memory for precision overclocking. The new Memory T-Topology design allows for an additional 15% memory bandwidth and now allows for 2400MHZ DDR3 Modules on the AMD990FX/SB950 Chipset. The board comes with Crossfire X/SLi support for up to three graphics card with Crossfire in dual x16 mode and Tri-SLi in x16/x8/x8 mode.
Our latest SupremeFXTM III chip allows for multi-channel high definition sound and ASUS has implemented their well renowned SupremeFXTM Redline and PCB shielding technology, as well as an EMI cover to boost onboard sound to pro-gaming standards.

The improved Ethernet setup features our exclusive GameFirst II with an EZ Mode which includes an intuitive user interface so you can quickly and easily manage your bandwidth to reduce ping and lag spikes.
Republic of Gamers’ continuous innovations have also led to this motherboard becoming the first Windows 8 Ready ROG product with a Directkey Button/DRCT header, TPM header and FastBoot Switch. The new and improved UEFI Bios contains a new 64MB worth of ROM and is Windows Fastboot Enabled which can launch you into the OS in around 2 seconds on the latest SSD’s. The motherboard also features OEM activation within BIOS so you won’t need to call Microsoft in the event of a clean system install.

I think i shall be getting this once its released :D

990FX came out a fair bit before Bulldozer so possibly sooner? although I'm guessing that's because nobody would have bought them if they had known the truth about Bulldozer. :p
