In the computer room there was a baby housefly flying around. I killed it with a tissue and throw it in the bin.

THEN 20 minutes later, another one came. Again I killed it with a tissue and throw it in the bin.

NOW another has appeared. Where are these ***** coming from?

My windows are closed. I assure you everything in the flat is clean (I am an OCD clean freak).

Could there be a mummy house fly somewhere which I need to terminate?

You've only killed the scouts.

The rest of them are waiting to attack you en masse!

Are you sure they're bluebottles? There is no such thing a "baby flies" they emerge from the cocoon fully grown. "Mummy house fiy"? You do know how flies breed, right...?(!)

They're probably thunderflies or thrips, they swarm in thundery weather and it's been hot 'n' sticky weather here lately, I've got the buggers flying around here. I swatted half a dozen of the blighters the other night but they're still around.

The other possibility is drain flies, check your drains aren't choked with gunk because they'll breed in that. If so get some drain unblocker or dose with bleach (temporary fix as it'll kill the grubs but won't clear the gunk and they'll be back)
