Hey all.
I detailed the Focus this weekend and noticed a some rusty chips along the rear sill bit that sticks out between the rear passenger door and the rear wheels.

I haggled with Ford down to £100 including VAT to get it sorted.
The man giving the quote showed me a car with these on to prevent the issue returning:

I know they aren't the best looking, but what are they called? Halfords do not sell them.

Despite me ringing up Ford before I bought the car I asked them to check for me and the car does have a DPF after all.

They look adhesive, a quick google brings me to;

Stone Guard Decals

Although I can't find any for a focus, I didn't look all that hard :)

hmm, I'm not sure you'd get it to conform to a right angle, you could possibly do it if you scored one side of the plastic on the contour of the angle.

You can also get a spray on stone-chip product but it would need a lot of work to make it look decent and probably not worth the effort.

Heat it with a hair-dryer, it will stretch to almost any shape :)
