Got about £800 to spend and has to be King Size. Seen a few on dreams.co.uk but the reviews for that company are terrible! I don't want a metal one, prefer the look of something like this. If it has storage that's a bonus :)

EDIT: I need a mattress too

(presuming you mean a bed and mattress, not just a frame, can't see your links from mobile)

Go in a shop

Bensons are a decent place, bought a firm orthopedic Sealy king size last month from one of their outlets, was around 1.3k I think but got it for £800, it's loooovely :). Everyone's different though.

I can't fathom why someone would buy a mattress from the internet though.

If I was buying a bed nowadays, I'd be hard pressed not to go for an ottoman. Modern ottoman beds have easily accessible storage that comes in extremely handy. You might not think you need the storage but I'm almost certain that you will use it.

ViSpring make a lovely bed but not sure you would get one of them for your budget. We had a 2 sided king size from ViSpring and it was excellent. I've no idea how much they are these days but a quality bed.

Go lie on some beds at your local indep retailer
Try out a pocket sprung matress with a memory foam layer
We got one recently, king size, bed and underneath with storage cost us 800.
I will try to recall the name now or check when i get up tomorrow
Most comfortable bed i ever slept on
They had different degrees of pocket sprung for separate firmness, need to lie on it to know if you will like it

Yah we have ViSpring in our bedroom, however it will not fit into the OP's budget. The average king size ViSpring is about 1.5k and the better ones 3 to 5k.

Rest Assurred 2000 mattress from Mattress Next Day (well more like Mattress Next Month) but it is one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on.

Bed was from M&S - it was a bargain Super King in Oak (can't remember the model now) but it was cheaper than the double?? Superb service as they delivered it for free, assembled it and removed all the rubbish - literally all I had to do was chuck the mattress no top.

go and check out to see if there are any ex-display.

our last bed was a £5k bed we got for £1600 and its awesome. the bed before that was £1k but i paid £300. you can get some real bargains.

i would also say get superkingsize if you can. much bigger. kingsize is only slightly larger than a double. superkingsize is much bigger.
