Well since the Saab i had was getting worthless quicker than a handbrake in a kayak, it had to go .
So mental guy here decided to drive from Fraserburgh to Hull , leaving at 2 am after 2 hrs sleep.
Took some ephidrine tablets with me !. Dam they work lol!
Got to Hull at 9.15 am.

Picked car up and started journey home at 2 Pm , got home again at 9.45 at night .

new car for me is a Jaguar 2.7 Premium Lux.

Liquid silver with beech and Champhane leather interior.
It really is a pleasure to drive! could never tell it is a diesel!

Next week it is booked into my local powerflow centre to have the DPF taken out , full stainless system and remap done .

Should be topping 260bph and over 500nm of torque!

i will get pics uploaded in a day or so i am waiting on my new sealer etc being delivered so i can protect her ;)

oh one thing is tyres there is 3 new tyres fitted , but they are budget crap , Any recoms for good tyres for the jag , size atm is 235/55/17 , needs bigger alloys , if i was going 19 inch what size tyres will i need to attach? thanks guys

Three things in your post stood out to me:

1. I read that as the 'Broch' ;)
2. I made a similar journey from nr St Fergus to Grimsby to pick up a new car (returned same day, very knackered)
3. I drove an S Type TT diesel when they were new and really really like it.

Very nice, when I've driven mine into the ground in a few years I hope to get a XF 3.0S possibly in Dieseasel form.

Question:

Why do people buy a diesel to save money, then spend hundreds and hundreds of pounds on modifications for it?
