First time watercooler looking for some advice for a CPU only loop for a 3930k in a Haf X.

EK Supremacy - Copper Acetal - £51.98
Hardware Labs Black ICE Radiator GT Stealth 360 - £49.99
EK DCP 4.0 Pump 12V - £39.98
EK Multi-option Reservoir X2 150 Basic - £28.98
Masterkleer Hose Pack PVC 16/10mm (3/8ID) UV-Reactive Dark Red 3.3m - £10.88
EK PSC Compression Fitting 10mm 3/8" - G1/4 - Nickel x8 - £22.00

= £203.81 plus shipping

Is all the stuff compatible? It should all be using G1/4, but I may have missed something.

What savings could I reasonably make?

Aside from pump vibration damping, fans (which I already have) and distilled water (buying local) is there anything else I should get?

Should I go for a biocide or a kill coil?

I think you need to do lot of research first!
But to start with,
*Get different RAD(search for some HAF X mods)
*Better Pump
*Tubing and fittings do not match
*IF using EK blocks do not use distilled water and/or biocide or kill coils

To make a long story short - take a step back and do your research first!

Went for the SR1 as it performs well at low speeds and respectably at higher speeds, and is a bit thinner than others at 53/54mm thick.

Better Pump? I'm not sure if this is necessary.

Sorted tubing/fitting (I think).

Went with the recommended option in the paper on the EK blocks.

Thoughts?

The pump will be fine for a CPU only loop with a 360, though you may want to swap out the res for a res-top for the pump, two birds, one stone ;)

For fluid EK also recommend Mayhems X1 and pastel :)
