This story just made me laugh, since the guy was trying to perv at the Chinese swimmers, and when he was caught he tried to hide in a cubicle and used a woman's voice to throw off his pursuers :D. I wonder if he used the Little Britain "I'm a lady!" voice, or tried to put on a Cartman style Thai hooker voice.

And why did he want to perv at the Chinese swimmers? Did he not see the Dutch women's hockey team?!

Wow lol what a freak he was arrested and sentanced to three years previously for breaking into someone's home and standing over there bed watching the student sleep after pulling there trousers down....

Dutch women's hockey team you say?

There's only one "Tom" I know of who had access to the swimming areas, but it probably wasn't him as I'm sure he's gay.

(waits for Internet Police to arrest me).

I'm more disturbed with the fact that Olympic crimes seem to be higher than the law of the land and can be fast-tracked. The IOC is truly dodgy.

Think you are missing the gist of the story once you get past the headline.

It was in Leeds at a swimming pool which was being used as a training facility. It sounds like from this guy's past record for being a peeping tom and voyeurism charges that he would have been doing it regardless of the fact that it was an Olympic Swimming Team.

I believe the fast track crimes is from the government, not the IOC. It was mainly setup to be able to punish anyone ticket touting, protesting or attempting to disrupt Olympic events immediately, no doubt to also help send a message to anyone else thinking of doing the same.

Ah good point, I stopped concentrating on the story properly as soon as I read that he tried to hide and put on woman's voice. It's like something out of a comedy.

He was previously jailed for three years in 2009 after trespassing in a private home and being found standing over a sleeping student, whose trousers had been pulled down

What the **** ?

I saw that as well.
But then i thought that it was just because there are a lot of people in the country who will be leaving soon and it would be difficult for witnesses etc to travel back here.

At least i hope this is the case.
