Just wondering if anyone here has bought wimbledon tickets before (or know the process for applying for them), I am looking to get some for the mens/womens later stages next year as a present.

I know debenture(sp?) tickets are the main source for these games but would like to know if they are any others available and if so do they go on sale to the general public.

Cheers,

KaHn

You need to apply for the general ballot. It's the inly way to buy non-depenture tickets.
You don't get to chose which day you go, you just (if you're lucky) get offered 2 tickets to a given date.

Other way if to queue up on the day (day before is more likely)

Ah ok, I did look at the ballot but wasn't 100%, I'll have a look at the general ballot and if it comes to it I'll get debenture tickets.

Thanks,

KaHn

Be prepared to pay £500+ for a debenture ticket. They are very expensive, as they come with access too the debenture lounges, and include food drink etc

Thats fine, it was more what I was looking to pay any way (for the whole experience) as it will be for my mams birthday.

As others have said, with the general ballot you won't get a say for which day it is for.

Don't hold your breath on the ballot though. I was only successful once in the past 10 years!

Cheers,

Think that answers my question on what to do, apply for bollot tickets but plan for buying debenture.

I think the ballot application is about December time, I have applied twice and got 2 centre court tickets each time

Is there anyway possible you can change your Sig, its absolutely horrible and annoying to look at while trying to browse the forum. I don't understand why you have it...Did you get conjunctivitis or something and think its cool to post a picture of it?

What's wrong with it?

Cheers for the help everyone else.

I'm quite amused that someone decided to post in a thread to complain about a sig - though to be fair, its a valid point - the sig is pretty horrendous.

Nope - it opened 1st August - I've already put mine in. They then write to you by the end of March 2013 if you have been successful in the main ballot. You can also get returned or declined tickets from then on.

:)

I meant the cut off which is indeed December :p
