was passing my local market when i saw the market trader that does computers displaying a box of of a gainward 7970 3gb ,, asked him what the price was ....

first off he says ....thast just the box ( i kid you not ) lol ...

has a look and says ...£48 ........at this point i almost fell over .........if he had it there and then id have been all over it .. said it was in warehouse .... i even told him he was clueless ...lol

I'll give you £48 plus a finders fee of ten english pounds.

If you look at the Gainward website you will see there are no new ATI cards (cant remember if they have ever done ATI either, thought they were purely Nvidia).

Are you 100% sure it was an AMD HD7970?

All I can think of is that its an over priced Nvidia 7900 series card from years ago. Especially with it saying Gainward on it, think they only do Nvidia cards?

it was def a 3gb card ... and pretty sure it was gainward ..... but i'll confirm
