To my most trusted buddy in here.;)

We've had the good times and of course the bad times too, you bitch!:D

So it's time to make up to me for all the hurt you caused me in the past.:p

You may have noticed(or not), I like my candy(PhysX).

As a current AMD user for the last few years anyway(4870/5870/6950>70 CrossFire), I have used Hybrid PhysX(with the minimum off fuss tbph) on all of them.

Can you help your fellow OcUK'r out, what do you think we'll need(Nvidia) to run:

Can't wait, I was 6/7 years old when I saw Darth storm board the...

Anyway, I want to play it at it's best as the Devs/Nvidia (hopefully) are going to help make this a proper next gen experience, and really, really, push our rigs due to them gearing up for the new consoles.

So what's it going to take gregster, it's a while off yet but do you think the daddy Kepler will be enough @1080p/3D?

And just in case you thought I forgot about you rusty, before you go in the huff;), I didn't forget luv, I reserved you one too!:)

***Reserved for Gregster***

I searched my brain and truly wish I had words of wisdom and had the foresight to answer this one simple question. All I can muster from my ever eager but sometimes slow brain is "Get a NVIDIA 01001001 00100000 01100100 01101111 00100000 01101110 01101111 01110100 00100000 01101000 01100001 01110110 01100101 00100000 01100001 00100000 01100110 01110101 01100011 01101011 01101001 01101110 01100111 00100000 01100011 01101100 01110101 01100101 00001101 00001010 "

Hope this helps :D

BTW, Good sense of humour Tommy and keep up the good work hunny :p

Thanks pet, for the words of wisdom. :)

GTX 990 with Mal style voltage adjustments is the only way :D.

:D

Please don't think yourself as an afterthought, it makes me soo sad.:(

If I didn't think so highly of you, I wouldn't have came back and edit the post to include you as I just knew you would be heartbroken, knowing that gregster is the one!

You can't reach the heights of gregster(yet:)), he is the sparkle in my eye when I gaze upon his magical words, so to keep us on the upward heights of joyousness, I included you to keep us onwards and upwards on what we have here, who knows, gregster might start taking me for granted and you could take his place.;)

And I've just noticed I was an afterthought - you edited your post 20 mins later with comments about me.

Very upsetting ;)

Video looks very, very nice.

UE3 with the recent enhancements
This comes as quite a pleasant surprise, even despite the fact that Epic VP Mark Rein recently already told us to expect the earlier next-gen titles to run on UE3 rather than UE4.

Rein had pointed to UE3's ability to power visuals such as those seen in the impressive Samaritan demo, which he said the engine is capable of doing "right now."

I have always been a silent Star Wars fan but felt they never realy caught that something that I felt when I was a kid going to the pics and seeing Star Wars for the first time. SWTOR looks good and my possible son in law plays it but I can't seem to see the attraction. Just me though, as many gamers would and probably rightly so, disagree with me.

This also looks good and again all I see is 3rd person shooter and my shoulders drop. I tried my hardest with Max Payne 3 but gave up in the end out of boredom. Wolfenstein and Doom I blame because now I am set in my ways...

Anyways, back to the subject in hand...What NVIDIA GPU to use for this?.........Nope, no idea, absouloutley zip/zilch/zero/nadda/nothing.

Why did you reserve posts for them that they cannot edit, lol

Hybrid PhysX is awesome. But the best part is getting it to work. Then you realise nothing uses it properly :)

Good luck and keep us updated

^

Check them again,that's why.

Hybrid PhysX has done the job for me every time with no hassles and I feel all warm inside knowing I got it to work when nvidia don't really want you to, some titles are better than others-BAC+Metro+Mafia 2 were the best for me.
:)

Can't see. Video on my iPhone :(

Traitor to the fanbois, I'm very hurt gregster, I can't believe you don't have an S2 or something with my beloved Tegra...;)

...it's a fantastic chip mate, physX on my Xoom FTW!

The Tegra 3 is going to make a killing for Nvidia.:D

It doesn't have that usual "plastic" look that UE3 games tend to have. Looks ridiculously good. It's about time more games came out to push graphics hardware, while actually looking good.

It is time spoffle, were only getting it because the big hitters now need to push the power of the PC because the new Xbox is on the horizon, much the same as Dice done with BF3 on PC.

Devs are now looking forwards as they have to step up the game with new titles, which means win win for us.

:)

I hear there’s allot of shadows, compute etc, and if the demo is an indication of the game, I see the 7 series not doing so bad here. I’ve not really looked into this shadow etc, business on AMD or NVidia, but from AMD and Nvidia demos, Nvidia avoids them, whereas AMD over does them, Just something to think about.

"Lucasarts CEO resigned recently & this games technical director also resigned, Nvidia are also working behind the scenes on it, so not sure if the three are connected in some way"

Edit: Think i read somewhere, it`s coming to PC 1st ;)
