Reading the interviews it does sound like he only wanted to join Man Utd and helped push the deal through, as Arsenal were being stubborn as we knew.

I always felt that Baines was just likely to cost too much, so that SAF comment from today's interview implies its someone else (Cole - with his contract situation? I hope not because I really cant stand him , but he would improve the squad dramatically , also probably too costly for where he is coming from /his age)

hmmm is Nani injured - just wondered why he is in street clothes (not training with everyone else)?
I know he only got a few minutes vs Aberdeen? the other day in an un-official pre-season game , but how did Fletcher look (given that Dwight Yorke and a few other (very) ex-members of the squad were reported to have played, I think its fair to say it wasnt a serious pre-season game lol) - is he even going to be in the squad officially (I would guess so , even if he isnt likely to play given the situation)
